Historic Cooking Demos
Come one, come all and indulge in tastes from the past!  Learn to cook as well as your great-grandmother did with a little help from Alice the Cook!  Alice has it all up her sleeve when it comes to smoking, salting and pickling techniques from days long ago.  Historical demonstrations will be conducted daily at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
 
Daily Bird Show
Hide your egg baskets!  The Raptor Center and their rehabilitated feathered friends will be demonstrating different bird facts daily as well as showing off their majestic beauty!  You never know what you’re going to get as there are nearly 700 different birds at the center and only the best and most beautiful will be able to make it out!
 
18ft Bear Statue
We’re bear-ly able to capture our excitement for the unveiling of the Festival’s newest family member, William Shakesbear! The 18 foot bear will be presented to the Renaissance community on August 29th at 10:00am in a grand welcoming ceremony on the Bear Stage!
 
Pub Crawl
Think you can drink like a true Renaissance patron? Meet us at Mac's Pub to test your tipping point during our pub crawl. Daily from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Cost is $20.00 and includes a guided tour, three beers at three pubs and a commemorative tankard. Activities include trivia, sing-a-longs, and games. Be sure to cheers to the King! Photography Classes
The King doth know that his subjects will learn to take fantastic photos with their “magic boxes”, and Richard Sennott, a photographer with the Minneapolis Star Tribune shall serve as their guide this year. The photography tours include festival admission and run Sept. 11th and 25th only from 11:00am to 4:00pm so patrons may capture all of the magical events at the Renaissance Festival. Royal Race
Lace up your corsets, vests and tennis shoes and prepare for the Royal Race 10K run and 5K run/walk on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9:00am! Prizes awarded for the best racers in Renaissance garb and awards ceremony to follow.

Harvest Market
Get your hands on organic grub and rustic, reusable gear on as you peruse through over 30 different vendors during our 2011 Harvest Market. Join farmers and friendly vendors as they proudly display their eco-friendly creations!
 
Motorcycle Show
It’s going to be a rip-roaring adventure with our Motorcycle show!  The show includes a specialty bike contest, brats and beers and plenty of loud engines roaring into the 16th century!
